Want to find out about the work we do at Ribble Rivers Trust?
Why not come along to one of our public talks, or organise a speaker for your group or community…
Here at the Ribble Rivers Trust we’ve been working for 20 years to deliver a healthier river system for the benefit and enjoyment of local communities and wildlife. We work with farmers, landowners, communities, government agencies and other organisations to: improve water quality, reduce the risk of flooding and droughts, improve how we manage our land and landscapes, increase river connectivity and improve biodiversity. More recently we have more efforts to explore and celebrate the rich heritage of the river and encourage more people to discover the wonder of the river for themselves. By celebrating what we have, involving more people, and through practical environmental action, based on science, we will leave a positive legacy for future generations.
Our speakers can show you how we do this and share our recent successes, whether you’d like to know more about our work with farmers and landowners, electro-fishing surveys or where we’ve created new woodland or wetland habitat.
Book on to one of our public talks or contact us via [email protected] or on 01200 444452 to enquire about a talk for your group.
