Ribble Catchment photos – new and old

In 2020 we used this space to allow people to share their photos – new and old – of the Ribble Catchment, to enable everyone to still see parts of our beautiful catchment that they were not able to visit at the time.

There was no theme as such: they could be photos of rivers themselves, river wildlife, old photos of people enjoying rivers… anything river-related, really!

Any my goodness did you deliver: a beautiful selection of photos were submitted! Just take a look for yourself, below.

Tip for viewing photos submitted to the page: To view a larger version of a photo, click on the photo. If the photo does not load, close the blank window that opens, then click on the photo again. This time, the window should have a larger view of the photo in it.

 

 

Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter of the Photo Sharing Space is Ribble Rivers Trust, c/o Hanson Cement, West Bradford Road, Clitheroe, BB7 4QF. 2. To add your photo(s) you must upload your photograph from the Ribble catchment and provide your full name and email address. 3. Photos should not exceed the maximum file size of 10 MB. 4. You can add as many photos to the page as you like. 5. All photos uploaded must be your own work, or you must clearly credit the photographer where they are not your own work. You are responsible for making sure that any photos you upload have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. 6. Anyone under the age of 18 who uploads photos must have permission from a parent of guardian to add the photos. 7. It is free to add your photos to this page. 8. There are no prizes associated with uploading photos to this page, as it is not a competition. 9. Ribble Rivers Trust reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Photo Sharing Space at any time without notice. 10. Any incomplete, offensive or illegible photos will not be approved by Ribble Rivers Trust to appear on the webpage, as will photos that are not relevant to the ‘Ribble Catchment photos’ theme. 11. By uploading their photos, all Participants grant permission for Ribble Rivers Trust to use their name and photo for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensation. 12. The Participants will retain copyright of the photo(s) they submit to the Photo Sharing Space. 13. By submitting photos to the Photo Sharing Space, all Participants grant permission for Ribble Rivers Trust to use their photos and associated information for purposes related to the work of the Trust, including helping others to discover and access rivers within the Ribble catchment. This includes uploading the photos to the Ribble Rivers Trust and Ribble Life social media accounts and showcasing them on any of the Ribble Rivers Trust’s websites. The author of each photo will always be acknowledged by including their name with the photo. 14. By uploading photos to the Photo Sharing Space, you agree that your personal data can be used by Ribble Rivers Trust to contact you by email. Such contact will only relate to the photos you have uploaded, information about the Ribble Life Together project or information about other Ribble Rivers Trust activity (if requested via the photo upload form). Your details will not be disclosed to third parties. 15. Uploading of your photos confirms that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 16. This Photo Sharing Space is governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with it.
