Ribble Catchment photos – new and old
Have you taken any photos of the Ribble Catchment whilst you’ve been out getting your daily exercise? Do you have any photos that you’ve taken in recent years of your favourite spots? Or perhaps you have some old photos of the catchment?
Whilst we will not be running a photography competition this year, we thought we’d use this space to allow people to share their photos – new and old – of the Ribble Catchment, to enable everyone to still see parts of our beautiful catchment that they’re not able to visit at the moment. And you might just gain some inspiration for new places to visit with your loved ones in the future, when it’s safe to do so!
There’s no theme as such: all we ask is that your photos are in some way river-related. They might be photos of the rivers themselves, river wildlife, old photos of people enjoying rivers… Simply use the form below to submit your photos – you can submit as many as you like! And you can view all the submissions further down the page.
If you are planning on taking any new photos, please ensure you follow government guidance at all times to ensure you and others remain safe. And, as always, please stay safe when close to rivers.
We’re now aware that there seems to be an error with this page, and when you click ‘Upload’ it looks like nothing has happened. However, please rest assured that your photo will have been submitted, and is just waiting for one of the RRT team to approve it. Once approved, it will appear with all the other brilliant photos below the upload form. We apologise for any confusion this causes – we’re trying our best to fix this issue.
Tip for viewing photos submitted to the page: To view a larger version of a photo, click on the photo. If the photo does not load, close the blank window that opens, then click on the photo again. This time, the window should have a larger view of the photo in it.
